- As we learned this hour, the Republican bill that was to begin the repeal and replacement of Obamacare was pulled from a congressional vote. For this week’s Politics Ohio, we spoke to Karen Kasler with the Ohio Statehouse News Bureau on first - where some Ohio legislators fell on the issue.
- The reporters at member station WOSU have been hard at work reporting on some serious issues. Up first - In the wake of President Trump's executive order on immigration, people living in the U.S. undocumented face an uncertain future. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have realigned who they prioritize for deportation to include anyone in the country illegally, even if they have not been convicted of a serious crime. Esther Honig reports a small group of concerned citizens are organizing to help undocumented Columbus families dealing with deportations.
- A new program is feeding the hungry by using prison labor. Inmates at the Pickaway Correctional Institution are taking park in a pilot program called Meals for Ohio. Also from public radio station WOSU, AdoraNamigadde reports the program benefits the hungry and the inmates.
