The 2010 Grand Illumination in downtown Dayton

Tonight is the Grand Illumination in downtown Dayton on Courthouse Square featuring live music entertainment, carnival rides, games, holiday crafts, horse-drawn wagon rides and a gingerbread house display.  The tree lighting will be at 7:45pm followed immediately by the Dayton Children's Parade Spectacular in Lights.  Go to downtowndayton.org and check it out.

The Victoria Theatre auction is now open.  Tons of things bid on: everything from gift certificates to the Pine Club to all kinds of sports tickets to shooting skeet and meeting and hanging around with Miss Ohio.

Aullwood Holiday Arts Fair and Open House is Saturday from 9-5.  23 artists and designers will offer beautiful artwork, handcrafted jewelry and exquisite gifts.  Also, you'll be able to purchase freshly made fir swags and boxwood wreaths.

Les Miserables...Dream the Dream...still here but closes on Sunday.  Go to victoriatheatre.com

DVAC, the Dayton Visual Arts Center, has their annual exhibition and sale.  It features all kinds of art created by more than 50 artists in a wide array of media including paintings, prints, fiber art, ceramics, glass sculpture, woodwork, ornaments, cards and more.

And finally go to my website, GreatDayton.com where you can see all the news I'm doing.
