Remember Prometheus? You know, the Greek god who stole fire and brought it down to us?  Tonight and tomorrow you can hear three musical interpretations of Promethus. One of the composer is Ludwig Beethoven, and another is Franz Lizt. The third interpretation is an American composer William Bolcom. Check it out at Daytonphilharmonic.com

Stivers School for the Arts is providing their theater presentation Friday and Saturday.  The play is Steel Magnolias.

If you want to polka, then Saturday night head over to the American Czechoslovakian Club. They are on Valley Street….and ”Czech” out their web site at www.accdayton.com

This is the final weekend of the wonderful play called Caroline or Change…it’s at theHuman Race Theatre and only a few tickets are available.

I saw The Norman Rockwell show at the Dayton Art Institute.  It is absolutely amazing….a MUST see.  Bring your camera because they give you a chance to be an artist.

The Downtown Dayton Partnership has this wonderful newsletter they call “Your Downtown.” Go to their website, and and in their “News and Publications” tab you will find it in pdf format.  It has all about the upcoming Grande Illumination and the Children's Parade, other activities, some new stores and ice skating at the gorgeous new rink.

And finally, go to my website GreatDayton.com and you can see all the news I am doing!
