AIRPEX 2018 are hosting more than 15 stamp dealers from across the country plus the Post Service with varied philatelic offerings and supplies. Novice, youth, and avid stamp collectors are welcome to stop by to talk and shop with stamp dealers and club members. This is at the IBEW Union Hall, 6550 Poe Avenue, today until 6pm; and Saturday, 10am to 4pm.

The 2018 Greater Dayton Lebanese Festival features Middle Eastern dancing and entertainment, cultural displays, craft booths, and authentic hand-made Lebanese food. It is at 5915 Springboro Pike (Route 741), about one-quarter mile south of the intersection of Route 741 and Alex-Bell Road. It is open today 6 to 11pm; Saturday, 11am to 11pm; Sunday, 11am to 6pm.

Dayton Porchfest is a family-friendly environment in the St. Anne's Hill Historic District, just east of downtown Dayton. You can hear and see all kind of music on Saturday, 1:30 to 7pm. And at 2pm you can sing along with accordion music! 

AleFest Dayton is a true celebration of Craft Beer! The general admission lets you sample from a carefully selected assortment of over 250 of Ohio's (and the world's) finest malted and hopped beverages. Local food purveyors tempt your taste buds as well, The Fries band will entertain, and everyone will (should!) go home happy! This is at the Dayton Convention Center, Saturday, 4 to 7pm.

The Montgomery County Animal Resource Center is offering half-off adoption specials on select dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. Adoptions include: Spay/Neuter, Microchip, 2018 License, 1st round of vaccines, and the Dewormer. This is located at 6790 Webster Street, in Dayton and it is now through September 1.
