S&P Expected To Downgrade Eurozone Countries

Standard and Poor's hasn't confirmed it yet, but there are numerous reports that it has downgraded the credit ratings of five eurozone countries, including France and Italy. S&P has had 15 eurozone countries on a "negative credit watch" for weeks, so an announcement Friday will not come as a surprise. Analysts, though, are concerned about possible ripple effects.
