Road Construction Levies: What To Expect

Open Clipart User nebu

Many Miami Valley voters this election will have the chance to consider ballot measures to increase funding for streets, roads and bridges. Here's more on what to expect:

In Centerville, Issue 3 would increase the municipal income tax by half a percent for general municipal operations. These include funds for police, maintenance, streets and capital improvements.

Residents of German Township will vote on Issue 45. The 2-mill, 5-year property tax levy would amount to an increase of $70 a year for every hundred-thousand-dollars in value.

And in Bath Township, Issue 11 would levy just over 2 mills for 5 years. If passed, this would be an additional $220 for the owner of a 100-thousand dollar house.
