Ohio Republican and Democratic Party Chairs Issue a Joint Appeal

Ohio Republican Party Chair Kevin DeWine and Ohio Democratic Party Chair Chris Redfern say they are friends but they are usually adversaries when it comes to political issues and candidates.  But now they have issued a joint news release, asking an appeal to Ohioans. 

Both Redfern and DeWine are asking Ohioans to make a contribution to the MidOhio Foodbank to help families who need help putting food on the table.  And both party chairs end their appeal by wishing Ohioans Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah.  In what’s commonly called the season of peace, two parties that are often at war with each other are coming together with a unified message.
