Local filmmaker Andy Copp joins Juliet Fromholt in the studio to talk about his latest documentary Ink and Flesh. It tells the story of Reverend Chad Wells, a Dayton tattoo artist, and his experience as an artist living and working in Dayton.
Copp is normally known for his narrative, so-called Grindhouse horror movies. One of his films of that genre, Fun in the Old Town, will also be played at the Midnight Movie at the Dayton Film Festival. Copp also works at Public Access Television, so he has experience in documentary work. He talks with Fromholt about his movie-making process, the challenges of being underfunded, and his experience as a filmmaker.
