Juliet Fromholt has been listening to WYSO for as long as she can remember.  She began volunteering at the station while also serving as Program Director and General Manager at WWSU, the student station at her
alma mater, Wright State University.  Juliet does many things at WYSO including overseeing the station's web and social media presence, producing news features, and hosting two music programs.  In her spare time, Juliet serves as music editor DaytonMostMetro.com and is proud to serve as a board member for the Antioch Writers' Workshop and Cityfolk.

Jennifer Knapp's Journey Back to Music

In 2003, Jennifer Knapp left her career as a successful Christian artist and didn't perform for 7 years.  Now Knapp has rekindled her music career identifying herself as a gay person of faith.  She has released a folk album called "Letting Go," and she'll perform in Dayton next weekend.  WYSO's Juliet Fromholt spoke with Knapp about her return to music.

Live on Kaleidoscope: Bonneville

Bonneville makes their second appearance on Kaleidoscope, performing stripped down versions of tracks from their forthcoming album, Amy's House and debuting several album tracks.  Amy's House was written after the band's 2010 release, Drawing Maps, and features the addition of keyboards as a focal instrument on the majority of the tracks.

Magic Jackson combines rock and roll, jazz, and funk to create their own unique jams.  With the current lineup only about 6 months old, Nathan Lewis (guitar/vocals), Mike McKewen (bass/vocals), John Gentry Jr. (guitar/vocals), Rob Brockman (drums/vocals) have been hard at work building their live set over the summer

Magic Jackson will perform at Canal Street Tavern on October 1st with Romeo Champagne.
