In this week's edition of PoliticsOhio, Emily McCord speaks with Martin Gottlieb from the Dayton Daily News to discuss the change in the Senate version of the state budget regarding the JobsOhio Plan, public response to Senate Bill 5 and controversial early voting legislation taking place at the statehouse.

In Kettering Monday night, a town hall meeting on Senate Bill 5 brought both supporters and opponents together to discuss the legislation. The League Of Women Voters and Lift Dayton sponsored the event. About 250 people were in attendance. GOP State Senator Peggy Lehner was on hand to answer questions from the public along with union supporters from the city of Kettering. Republican house representative Jim Butler from the 37th district was also at the meeting.

In this week's PoliticsOhio, Emily McCord speaks with Karen Kasler of the Ohio Public Radio Statehouse News Bureau. She explains some of the new provisions the Senate has proposed in the state budget, which could be approved by next week.

We wrap up our series “The New Face of Wright-Patt” looking at the big gains of the recent BRAC decision with a cautious eye toward the future.
