RiverScape MetroPark will host the final concert in this year's series, with Stranger performing from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The park's concession stand will be open and beer will be sold from 5 to 7 p.m. MetroParks will demonstrate various kayaking skills on the river and free kayak rentals will be available.

Celebrate the kick-off of the London 2012 Olympic Games with the best opening ceremonies party in Dayton! It’s sure to be a “gold medal” night, full of English pub food, drinks, British music, prizes and fun, as you watch the opening of the Summer Games unfold. Who knows, the Queen herself might even make an appearance! This is at the DAI, tonight….7-11pm.

Are there moments of spiritual awe that can occur in modern times? Do gods and goddesses walk amongst us? Can we still be moved by the beauty and power of myth? This evolving performance art installation will incorporate digital imagery (prints/video) and soundscapes.  And it is tonight…from 6 – 8pm at 8 North Main Street in downtown Dayton the old CVS space/ PNC Building.

The Peace Museum's new exhibit has twelve powerful portraits from artist Robert Shetterly's series, 'Americans Who Tell the Truth.' Each portrait includes a quote and short biography.  One of the portraits is of Paul K. Chappell, a West Point Graduate from California who has spoken three times in Dayton. Dayton International Peace Museum and always free admission.
