Tonight , at 7:00pm at UD, in the theater that is in their student union the DCDC2 will present its annual festival of dance, decorations, candy, and elves. They bring in the season’s rhythms and good cheer.

And at 8:00 tonight The Oral Funk Poetry Productions will be doing “The Signature: A Poetic Medley Show.” This is at De’Lish Café, 139 N. Main St, downtown Dayton. The event will feature free hors d’oeuvres, drink specials and live entertainment.

Tonight is the Grand Illumination in downtown Dayton on Courthouse Square featuring live music entertainment, carnival rides, games, holiday crafts, horse-drawn wagon rides and a gingerbread house display.  The tree lighting will be at 7:45pm followed immediately by the Dayton Children's Parade Spectacular in Lights.  Go to downtowndayton.org and check it out.

Remember Prometheus? You know, the Greek god who stole fire and brought it down to us?  Tonight and tomorrow you can hear three musical interpretations of Promethus. One of the composer is Ludwig Beethoven, and another is Franz Lizt. The third interpretation is an American composer William Bolcom. Check it out at Daytonphilharmonic.com

Stivers School for the Arts is providing their theater presentation Friday and Saturday.  The play is Steel Magnolias.
