 Jazz Night features two hours of the best in jazz every Tuesday night. From early jazz to the latest cutting edge, superb singers, blues, the best new releases and nearly everything in between, Jazz Night offers something for every jazz taste. Dave Barber, who has presented programs on WYSO dating back to 1977, is your host most weeks between between 8 and 10 pm. At least once a month, Steve Schwerner, still inspired by his boyhood hero Symphony Sid Torin, takes the helm. Steve has been hosting programs at WYSO since 1957 when he hosted the first WYSO jazz show as a student at Antioch College (the same year he was camped at the Five Spot in New York, witnessing Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane).
